Applicants are required to submit recent videos to the Music Academy for Young Professionals, which may be posted on either YouTube or Vimeo.

 

Please upload two contrasting pieces in separate videos:

1. Virtuosic/technical piece or a movement of a concerto

2. Slow/melodic piece or a movement of a concerto

Please be sure your audition videos are clearly titled (e.g., Peter Pan, violin – J.S. Bach: Violin Partita No. 2, III. Sarabande)

ATTENTION:

• Application videos must be taken from a single camera perspective and display the hands and face of the applicant at all times.

• Video/Audio editing is not permitted, with the exception of applause, truncating, or excerpting movements from longer pieces. Performances edited otherwise will be rejected.

• Please label each video submission clearly with the applicant’s name and the title of the piece.

• Each video must be uploaded separately.

• We do not require applicants to audition with a collaborative pianist but bear in mind that audition videos will be judged in terms of the overall level of artistic performance.

• Please make sure that all links are working and do not require any password to access.
